Besonderheiten: Der Ardmore 2008/2023 G&M DL ist ein Single Malt Whisky aus der Ardmore Distillery in Schottland, genauer gesagt aus den Highlands. Der Whisky wird von Gordon & MacPhail abgefüllt und ist Teil der Distillery Labels-Serie. Er kommt in einer ansprechenden Geschenkverpackung und ist ohne Kühlfiltrierung abgefüllt. Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: In der Nase zeigen sich reife Gartenfrüchte, die von sanftem Rauch eingehüllt werden und von cremigem Toffee begleitet sind.
  • Gaumen: Am Gaumen wirkt der Whisky weich und sanft, wobei würziger Rauch zu Vanille, grünen Äpfeln und frischem Gebäck führt. Dahinter finden sich tropische Früchte, Zitruszesten und Walnüsse.
  • Abgang: Mit anhaltender Süsse und getoastetem Holz bleibt der Tropfen mittellang am Gaumen.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Ardmore Distillery ist bekannt für ihre rauchigen Whiskys und stellt verschiedene Abfüllungen her. Gordon & MacPhail ist der Abfüller dieses Whiskys und gilt als einer der ältesten kontinuierlich tätigen unabhängigen Abfüller Schottlands, gegründet 1895.
