Die Post-Punk Sensation SPRINTS aus Dublin, bestehend aus Karla Chubb (Gesang/Gitarre), Gitarrist Colm O'Reilly, Schlagzeuger Jack Callan und Bassist Sam McCann, reiste in 2023 ins französische Loire-Tal, um das Album in zwölf Tagen mit Daniel Fox von der Gilla Band aufzunehmen. Das Ergebnis ist ein umwerfend kraftvolles Album mit der Botschaft für mehr Selbstakzeptanz.
Mit "Letter To Self" gehen SPRINTS mit Leidenschaft und Ausdauer ihren eigenen Weg zur Zufriedenheit und nutzen den Schmerz, um zu wachsen. Inspiriert von Savages reifte ihr Sound zu einem energiegeladenen und ruppigen Garage-Punk, der Einflüsse von den frühen Pixies, Bauhaus, Siouxsie Sioux, IDLES und LCD Soundsystem in sich vereint.
Sängerin, Gitarristin und Lead-Songwriterin Karla Chubb setzt sich mit ihrer inneren Zerrissenheit auseinander und nutzt ihre Plattform, um Ungleichheit und Themen anzusprechen, die ihr am Herzen liegen, wie die Kampagne für "Repeal The 8th" und den andauernden Kampf der Frauen für körperliche Autonomie, Kämpfe mit Selbstakzeptanz, Identität, psychische Probleme, Sexualität und katholische Schuldgefühle. SPRINTS Debut Album "Letter To Self" wird am 05.01.2024 über City Slang veröffentlicht. Nach einem grandiosen Auftritt beim Reperbahnfestival 2023, spielt die Band ausgedehnte Touren in 2024 spielen und dabei auch in Deutschland halt machen.

It's funny but cheap
My cat does enjoy chasing the little fluff balls around and then batting them for a few seconds than looking back at me for more. It's good for some good laughs and entertainment but the fluff balls and little plastic shooter are honestly dollar tree level quality. The shooter has one flimsy spring and looking at the placement inside it seems like something that'll fall apart pretty fast. Not worth $11 or $8, this should be >$5 easily.

My 1 year old cat loved to chase the balls, but who ever designed these balls should be ashamed of their selves. They balls are to small and easy for the cat to chew on and swallow!!! My cat just got done with an extremely costly surgery because he swallowed 3 of the balls he must of hid them somewhere because he usually did not play with them unattended. Never mind the pain my poor sweet baby just went through. I would never purchase something where somebody has not tested the size and shape of something to make sure that it is safe for an animal, sad to assume that somebody would create such a toy without checking that out and putting a animal through this nightmare. This is the first time in my that I have ever done a review, but I would never want somebody to go through what my cat and I have just experienced. Had to him to the emergency room on a Sunday to a follow up appointment at the vet on a Monday and then another follow up appointment on a Tuesday to redo the ultrasound to on Wednesday another appointment to check them and then him having to go in for an emergency surgery on Thursday. The problem is, he didn’t eat them all at one time so they obviously were sitting in his tummy until he started getting sick and throwing up. I will be checking into this company a bit deeper as well, so please be aware and don’t ever purchase something like this.

If you push the pom pom all the way in, it wont shoot. More often than not though, I just throw the balls for the cats. The gun shoots them very far, the cats enjoy chasing them, but they prefer to jump up and try to catch them, which they cant do when I use the gun

My cats (3) are 7,5, and 3. They don't play with ANYTHING. They would cats mice for 5-6 minutes and quit. Teaser wands? Puh-leeze! They act so above it all, it's been hard to play with them. By some miracle, I came across this toy and thought its not so expensive if they don't like it I won't go thru the trouble of returning it. But they love it. They each have a favorite corner where they jump all over themselves trying to catch it. They play for 15-20 minutes at a time which is AMAZING! My only regret is I bough the one with 30 pieces instead of 100! I am definitely a huge fan and will be buying another on as soon as this review is finished. You can manipulate how and where you shoot the poms, the cats can't get hurt because the trigger doesn't have that much pressure but you can shoot across the room no problem. I wish I had found this a year ago. It is a definite 5 stars, two thumbs up (or three paws up) in my house!
