The RectorSeal Safe-T-Switch 97647 was designed to help protect HVAC systems, ceilings, walls, and drain pan areas from water damage caused by clogged air conditioner condensate drains. This 24V condensate overflow shut-off switch was commonly used with primary and auxiliary drain pans to detect rising water levels and shut off the HVAC system before overflow occurred.
Using magnetic reed switch technology, the Safe-T-Switch 97647 monitored condensate drain pan water levels and interrupted the low-voltage control circuit when an overflow condition was detected.
