M1C Paratrooper Helmet Chinstrap Reproduction – WWII Airborne

Designed for M1C (swivel bail) paratrooper helmets, this WWII-accurate chinstrap reproduction ensures historical authenticity for collectors and reenactors. Made to match mid and late-war specifications, it’s available in multiple versions:

Features:

✔️ Mid-war: Stamped step-bar buckle with OD3 (khaki) webbing.
✔️ Late-war: Two variations – OD3 webbing or OD7 (dark green) webbing, both with a flat stamped buckle.
✔️ Extended webbing with blackened snaps for secure liner attachment.
✔️ Designed for M1C paratrooper helmets with swivel bales.
✔️ Available in standard or bartacked versions.
✔️ Sold individually.

Variants:

Bartacked: For Restorers
The way WWII chinstraps were originally attached to the helmet. Bartacking secures the strap to the chinstrap loop, ensuring a strong and secure attachment. If you're fully restoring a helmet, this version will allow you to slip the straps on during the helmet restoration process. This is the ideal option for those aiming to restore the helmet to its original specifications and achieve the authentic look of barred stitching.

Standard: For Most Applications
For those who prefer to sew the chinstrap on themselves during the restoration process, or for a helmet that is simply missing chinstraps. This version gives you flexibility to install the chinstrap according to your specific restoration needs, whether you're restoring an existing helmet or adding chinstraps to a helmet without them.

Ideal for reenactors, collectors, and WWII airborne helmet restorers, this M1C chinstrap reproduction completes your late-war paratrooper setup.

So-so...
Color: Blue+Orange
50lb German Shep mix chewed through the head within a couple days and pulled the squeeker out. Not horrible, but not as durable as they seem to imply.

These toys are great! My dog chews and tosses and loves these! She's an aggressive chewer, and they have held up through it all! Very well made toy!

The indestructible sharkie
High and low have I searched when quite by accident I just happened upon the indestructible sharkie. We are fast approaching the 24 hour mark and sharkie is still with us. He has thus far resisted the incredibly strong, outrageously aggressive and persistent chewing of my Bernese mountain dog. Most don’t make it 20 min, so a whole day?!? Miracle!!! Not in love with the incessant squeaking that has followed me, but then again… that’s because this is actually not simply a review but a love story between a dog and his shark toy. Where others have failed, this one has endured. My water fearing dog has an obsession with shark shaped toys so while it would be nice to see a different character, truth is… I’ll be buying more sharkies. A lot of sharkies. Yard sharkie. Work sharkie. Maybe not house sharkie… but you get the point.

Great for tough chewers
I have purchased this twice! My dog absolutely loves it! He is a pit-bull Shepard mix and an extremely tough chewer. The first toy lasted almost a year of him chewing on it daily
