This button is from the mid 20th century. This button I choose for this brooch is a glass bullseye button circa 1870s. Most likely it was a man's waistcoat button. I love the lustre sheen seen on the surface of the centre part of the glass.
To create this brooch I work with coloured carded wool fleece, needle felting the wool into a unique design. It is then hand sewed and beaded with a lock brooch pin on the back.
The dimensions are: width = 2" and the length 2".
