It carries us into the madness of air warfare, the horror of a screaming crash into the frigid North Sea, the terrible realization and burden of living with the knowledge that you survived when everyone else died. The son of illiterate, but deeply religious Sicilian immigrants, US District Court Judge Anthony Alaimo shined shoes and cut hair in Jamestown, New York, to pay for his college education. (He was the Golden Gloves boxer attending the quiet Methodist College.) As a POW, he participated in the world-famous Great Escape, and later broke out on his own, making his way through German lines into Switzerland. A mother's love, religious faith, and ferocious patriotism transform an impoverished immigrant boy into one of the Greatest Generation heroes. Nice Grinder at a Great Price

I bought this to use primarily as a travel grinder and found that it is great for every day use. It is not meant for large amounts but it is perfect for single, smaller brewing situations. The grind selection worked well and I "dialed" the proper ground size for my single sized pour over coffee maker.

Ceramic burr destroyed itself

For the first two-plus months it worked fine -- the perfect grind and the perfect amount with a full barrel for my oversized coffee mug.
I've been using it once daily, more or less, on a medium grind setting of 25, and this morning the ceramic burr started to eat itself. This is not acceptable.
Follow up:
Circle Joy contacted me and offered to give a full refund on this purchase, which was gratefully accepted. This is outstanding customer service.

Best price for better tasting coffee

I am a coffee snob. I only get beans. I have been using a magic bullet blender to grind, which actually does extremely well, but the grind wasn't quite even enough. So I found the cheapest, ok quality grinder I could and bought this one. I absolutely love it. It take a while to grind, and it only does a little at once, but whatever. This thing works great and my grounds are now even. The burrs seem to be of decent quality and the whole device works smoothly.

Wonderful grinder:

This is one little powerful grinder. It holds 30 grams in the glass jar which is perfect for 2 cup 10oz cups. It has a dial to adjust the grind. Great for two! It works great. Really good purchase. It is a labor of love.
