Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 Eisenach, 1750 Leipzig) was a German composer and musician, Thomaskantor in Leipzig from 1723 until his death. Considered among the greatest geniuses in music history, his works are notable for their intellectual depth, mastery of technical and expressive means, and artistic beauty. He achieved a remarkable synthesis between the German style of Pachelbel and Buxtehude and the works of Italian composers (especially Vivaldi, whose numerous pieces he transcribed, assimilating above all his concertante style). His work constituted the culmination and development of the various stylistic-compositional trends of his era. The degree of structural complexity, technical difficulty, and the exclusion of the melodramatic genre, however, made his work the preserve of only the most gifted musicians and at the time limited its diffusion among the general public, compared to the popularity achieved by other contemporary musicians such as Handel or Telemann. In 1829, the performance of the St. Matthew Passion, conducted in Berlin by Felix Mendelssohn, brought to the knowledge of a wide audience the extremely high quality of Bach's compositional work, which has since been considered the compendium of Baroque counterpoint.
The Kantor of Leipzig, where he composed so many cantatas and sacred works, remains a miracle of the Baroque and of music in general, certainly. I decided to include in the CD the Sonata BWV 1030 for flute and obbligato harpsichord, the partita for solo flute BWV 1013, the harpsichord works transcribed by Telemann and the sonata for flute and continuo 1035 for the love of the composer and the pieces.

Nicola Lamon studied at the "B. Marcello" conservatory in Venice, graduating in 2001 with honors in both Organ and Organ Composition with Elsa Bolzonello Zoja and Harpsichord with Sergio Vartolo and Marco Vincenzi. He also obtained a full marks diploma in Gregorian Chant with Lanfranco Menga. In the academic year 2005-2006, at the "B. Marcello" Conservatory in Venice, he obtained a second-level specialist academic diploma in organ with a score of 110 cum laude. He participated in numerous masterclasses at various international academies: in organ and improvisation with H. Davidson and W. Porter in Smarano (TN), with J.L. Gonzalez Uriol in Daroca (Spain), at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, for harpsichord, with Christophe Rousset, obtaining a diploma of merit. He has received several awards in various national and international competitions: in organ, the third prize in Borca di Cadore in 2001 and 2005, the first prize in Viterbo in 2003, and the third prize in Fano Adriano (TE) in 2006; in harpsichord, the first prize in Fusignano (RA) in 2003 and the first prize in Pesaro in 2005. He holds the position of second organist at the prestigious Basilica of San Marco in Venice, collaborating with the Cappella Marciana in concert and recording performances. He follows and studies with particular interest historical partimento and improvisation aimed at researching and performing basso continuo. With his colleague David Brutti on cornetto, he founded the duo "Seicento Stravagante" engaged in promoting Renaissance and Baroque keyboard instruments, participating in recordings and concerts. He also works as an organist and continuo harpsichordist in various ensembles, collaborating also in masterclasses and advanced training courses. He was an adjunct professor at the "C. Pollini" Conservatory of Padua for keyboard practice and vocal repertoire reading, and currently works as a harpsichord accompanist at the Arrigo Pedrollo Conservatories in Vicenza and Agostino Steffani in Castelfranco Veneto (TV). He is also involved in the monumental complete performance of the two books of Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier and The Art of Fugue.

Maria Giovanna Fiorentino born in Padua in 1961, she studied recorder in Padua with S. Balestracci (1976-1982) and obtained a diploma in recorder at the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. Graduated in Literature with honors from the University of Padua with a thesis in Music History, she collaborates with articles, conferences and lecture-concerts in musicological research. She has given 163 concerts in Italy and abroad and several recordings in ensembles such as the C.M.A. of Padua, the Chamber Orchestra of Padua, Accademia Bach, the Compagnia dei Febi Armonici, Interensemble and Serenissima Chamber Orchestra at the XXIII Festival of Early Music in Urbino. She has recorded D. Bigaglia's sonatas for flute and b.c., Corelli's Op. V, Sammartini's Trio Sonatas and Bellinzani's and Barsanti's Sonatas for Tactus. She continued with Vivaldi's Concertos a 4 in 2014 and with Boismortier's Op. XXXVII for Urania Records, as well as F. Couperin's Concerts Royaux, to be released in September-October 2017. She has taught recorder at the "G. Tartini" Conservatory in Trieste and at the Musician School in Reggio Emilia and recorder and Music History at the Morello Foundation in Castelfranco Veneto 1997-2003. Literally perfect and exactly what I needed!
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
I can't recommend this enough! It was exactly what i was looking for! I have an annoying habit of researching everything for months before I purchase something that will get used this often. I finally decided on this one and I was very pleasantly surprised. I needed a wedge pillow to put at my back while sitting in bed. Mostly for when I'm working on my laptop. This one was the perfect height and perfect fit for me.I'm a female that is 5'4 and weigh about 117pds. I wanted something firm enough to support my back, and this most certainly does! It had a very pleasant appearance with the light gray sides. It has a removable cover I can take off and wash when needed. It's portable enough to move from room to room, also works great on my couch and it has amazing versatility. It can also be used as a pillow for someone that might need to sleep at a slight incline. It also works if you need to prop your legs up. It came vacuum packed. Once opened It said to let is sit for at least 24-48 hrs to give it time to properly inflate. For me, It plumped right up immediately! Again, from someone that does her research, if your looking for something like this at a reasonable price, this is it!

It was worth every cent
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
I have BPPV. It's a condition where tiny ear crystals come out of place and move within your ear canals - this fools your brain into thinking you're in motion, causing severe dizziness. The most common treatment is the Epley Maneuver, and that actually helps a lot. However, I was going through a period where every single day I'd wake up with severe dizziness. Even if I managed to do the Epley Maneuver and it worked, the entire rest of the day would be ruined because I'd still feel generally unwell and nauseous. I ended up getting a book about BPPV and the author strongly recommended sleeping at at least a 30 degree angle. So, that's why I ended up buying this wedge pillow... I started using it April 26 and today is May 17. Since I began using it as a pillow, I have not woke up dizzy again. That is so huge! It may be that sleeping at a 30 degree angle deserves 5 Stars but thought I'd give this pillow 5 Stars too, as it's been a great experience. If you suffer from this, here's how the angle should be...If you lay your head on a pillow and open your eyes, you should not be looking at the ceiling. With the right angle, you should be looking at where the wall meets the ceiling. If so, you know you're at the right angle. As far as pillow itself, I'd say the pillow case fabric is of average quality. Not really remarkable in any way. It seems decent. Good value for the price. The inside is firm (which is just what I needed) but comfortable, and I tend to not move around much the entire night. I like this very much and if it does start wearing out, I'll definitely come back here and buy another. Would recommend.

A bit too firm but great otherwise
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
I got this wedge pillow primarily to have something to lean my head against (I like to lay on my side when reading or looking at my phone at night sometimes), or to sit upright when reading in bed. It's very comfortable doing both now. It does a really good job at being a nice support for the back of my bed. Only negative is I feel it's too firm. I wouldn't use it as a primary pillow, but it's definitely good for back support at least. While I won't mark it down for this, I do find it very large. If you have anything smaller then a queen it may take up more of your bed then you'd like. Definitely recommend. Hopefully will last quite a long while as well.

So helpful after surgery.
Color: Solid Warm Gray, Size: 24x24x12 inch
Perfect support while recording from abdominal surgery. This pillow maintains its shape and is not overly soft. I used it vertically as a prop for watching television and then used it horizontally to prop myself up to sleep, once I returned to sleeping in bed. I used this daily for 6 weeks or so following surgery. The cover can be removed and machine washed. The non-slip nubbies are helpful. This pilllow is high quality and really helped to minimize pain and improve my sleep after surgery.

Nice wedge pillow but not enough...
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
It came compacted and when I opened it expanded almost immediately, maybe took like 20 minutes to fully decompress. Its soft and comfortable and the cover is really nice. But it does have a strong chemical smell, which is normal for this kind of brand new memory foam, I just put it on a table with a window open near it and after maybe 24 hours the smell was almost completely gone. The problem is that I bought this to have a elevated position when sleeping but the 30° are just not enough for me. I wish it was at least 45° but I could not find any pillow with that amount of degree... it's either 30° or like 75° in the other position. At the base of the pillow there is a little ridge that is comfortable for the lower back but makes me slide down in the middle of the night so I end up almost laying flat with my neck on the base ridge. With my slim build my lumbar area gets some nice support but makes my head almost have a "fall backwards" sensation, I like having my neck have a "push-forward" position with my pillow, but when adding another pillow to try and get to a comfortable position it only makes me slide down even more... :/
