It can seal gaps of up to 40mm and is available in a bright white or a stylish black to suit the colour of your garage door or door frame. It is available in two kit sizes - 2.44m (8 ft) and 3.04m (10 ft) (supplied as 2 equal lengths at 1.525m); multiple lengths can be butted together for wider garage doors.

How does the garage door top seal work?

Up-and-over garage doors often have a gap between the top of the door and the door frame, which can look unsightly and allow draughts and other debris to be blown into the garage. The GaraDry® Garage Door Top Seal creates a seal between the top of the garage door and frame which stops draughts, helping conserve heat within the garage, potentially keeping your garage warmer and reducing your energy bills. It is made from dual-extrusion, durable PVC material which is also UV stabilised. This means that it won’t discolour in sunlight and will not degrade when exposed to rain and strong winds.

The top part of the seal is a rigid PVC which is screwed into the door’s frame, while the lower, flexible section will allow the garage door to be opened and closed easily. What should I be aware of before I buy this garage door top seal?

This product can only be used with up-and-over garage doors and is not suitable for use on sectional or roller shutter garage doors. If unsure about what type of garage door you have, please contact our team for advice.

The top seal is available in two lengths, 2.44m and 3.05m. The 2.44m top seal is a single, continuous length, but 3.04m version is supplied in two equal sections of 1.525m, which are butted together. For wider doors, multiple lengths can be purchased and placed together without a visible join, and the seal can also be cut with a hacksaw if required for a perfect fit.
