About Childe Wilde

Our Childe Wilde Sunglasses frames are made from a plant based grilamid polymer made from 61% renewable resources.

This polymer is petrochemical free and dramatically reduces carbon emissions. The future is nature.

We have now introduced a plant based bio lens to compliment our eco conscious frames. The plant based lenses are made from a castor oil base nylon which is made from 39% renewable resources.

Plant based lenses are light, scratch resistant and provide premium optical clarity.

I actually bought this product (one can) so I could spray this on my small area of frog ornaments and rocks by our pool. *The product does not state it is intended for craft use. I am very okay with that. Being in Arizona with sun and wind, I wasn’t sure how this would work, turns out what little I did do, (I was afraid my bottle would run out), did a nice job! Half the glitter I sprayed survived a serious thunderstorm we had one night a week or two ago! I did end up spraying some glitter on my arm, it’s really pretty, subtle, small size glitter, but definitely noticeable outside. You can make your layers as thin or thick as you like. The glitter comes out of the can like hairspray. Very faint smell that will go away within 5-10 minutes, depending on much you use.  I will definitely be purchasing more of this item in more colors in the future.
