The Racers, Original Movie Poster, Belgium 1955. H.W.MKirk Douglas and Bella Darvi were the main love interest in The Racers. The star car of the movie was the HWM that later became the the magnificent Stovebolt Special, currently being given the occasional outing by owner and motoring oracle, Simon Taylor. A Ferrari Barchetta was also a major player. Other cars were faked up from contemporary Ferrari Formula 2 racers. Note the Talbot Lago also portrayed on this poster There was a hell of a lot of back
