One notable fan was Patti Smith, who gave Zukie a support slot on her UK tour and contributed sleeve-notes to a 1977 album. This period of success allowed Zukie to set up his own Stars record label, and he began to produce other artists. After 1976, he concentrated on producing music in Jamaica, working with reggae musicians.

The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!
