使用山形縣高畠地區產的「亀粋」，限定生產的純米大吟釀。「亀粋」是從「亀の尾」變種而成的原創酒米，香氣芳醇而酸味清爽，口感乾淨清澈。
「亀粋」的稻穗為了自我保護而外層生有野毛，模樣有點像長有髭毛，再加上酒標設計使用傳統日本酒般的髭文字，因此這款酒被命名為「髭判」。
適合飲作為為食中酒。
