Extra-Wide 8x6 Greenhouse with Superior Thermal Efficiency for Australian Conditions

6mm Twin-Wall Polycarbonate for Insulation and Light Diffusion

This 8x6ft greenhouse is constructed with 6mm premium-grade twin-wall polycarbonate glazing. Offering better thermal insulation than glass, it helps maintain stable temperatures for year-round growing while reducing the risk of plant stress from heat or frost.

Rust-Free, Powder-Coated Frame with Smooth Ventilation

The powder-coated matt-black aluminium frame is strong, rust-resistant, and built to last. With two roof vents included, it offers excellent airflow and climate control inside the growing space — essential for managing humidity and temperature.

Designed in New Zealand. Assembled in Australia.

Manufactured in New Zealand and assembled locally, this glasshouse is purpose-built for Australian conditions. Unlike many imported kits designed for milder climates, Winter Gardenz structures are engineered to handle the extreme weather seen in regional and coastal Australia — from strong winds to temperature swings.

Compact Footprint with Extra Width for Greater Flexibility

At 2596mm wide x 1972mm long, this compact but extra-wide model offers more internal room for staging, raised beds, or vertical growing systems. Ideal for suburban homes or side-yard installations where space is limited but growing goals are ambitious.

  • Dimensions: 2596mm (W) x 1972mm (L) x 2615mm (H to ridge)
  • Height to gutter: 1620mm
  • Glazing: 6mm twin-wall polycarbonate
  • Frame: Matt-black powder-coated aluminium
  • Roof vents: 2 included for ventilation
  • Wind Rating: Up to 150km/h when installed to specification

An Essential
Format: Paperback
I've created PowerPoints for executives in major corporations and national non-profits for years now, and this is one of the first books I suggest anyone who needs to create their own PowerPoint look to. Beyond Bullet points is accessable enough that the novice PowerPoint user can understand what's going on and use the lessons in his or her next presentation; it's also detailed and challenging enough that even an old salt like me can find things to learn and do. Don't be another person who stands on stage reading their PowerPoint, and don't let reading your slides distract the audience from your presentation; follow the suggestions in this book and wow your audience.

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
