TORQ Energy Natural Orange energy drink has been painstakingly formulated so that it delivers TORQ's unique blend of multiple-transportable carbohydrates and electrolytes to the working muscles through a drink that is lightly flavored, refreshing and most importantly natural.

This 500g resealable pouch contains 15x 500ml servings. Each 500ml (~16oz) of mixed TORQ Energy contains 30g of carbohydrate and represents 1 TORQ Unit, which provides you with the same carbohydrate dose as a TORQ Gel or TORQ Bar. This is the core concept behind the TORQ Fueling System, which makes fueling for endurance sport extremely easy to understand.

Key Features:
- 2:1 Maltodextrin:Fructose: This drink's ingredient matrix has been brought in line with some of the most recent research into energy drink formulation. Two published studies* in 2005 offered quite staggering results when Maltodextrin (a long-chain glucose polymer) was mixed with Fructose (fruit sugar) at a 2:1 ratio and since then, many more studies have demonstrated similar benefits*. Although Maltodextrin alone has been proven to be considerably more effective than Fructose in isolation, when the two are mixed in this 2:1 ratio, significantly more carbohydrate is made available for use. These studies have demonstrated that a 2:1 Maltodextin to Fructose mix caused athletes to absorb and use 40% more carbohydrate compared with consuming maltodextrin alone. What are the benefits? Quite simply, the increased availability of carbohydrate means that you will be able to sustain a higher pace for longer using TORQ energy, making this product the most advanced formulation available to endurance athletes on the market today.

- Electrolytes: TORQ energy contains Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium to replace the 5 electrolytes lost through perspiration. These salts maintain homeostasis within the body, allow it to hold onto water and preserve muscle function. Some brands do not include all of these electrolytes in their formulations, or run them at lower levels than they should - some include none at all.

- Natural Flavors and No Colors or Preservatives: Under exercise stress, digestion is affected as blood is diverted to the working muscles, so irrespective of the health debate surrounding the consumption of artificial ingredients, during exercise is certainly not the time to take them. Therefore we only use natural flavors that the body can recognize and break down easily and we don't use colors or preservatives (artificial or natural), because they simply don't need to be in the product.

No Artificial Sweeteners: For the same reasons as highlighted above, we don't believe in the use of artificial sweeteners like Aspartame, Acsulfame-K, Saccharine and Sucralose. These artificial sweeteners are 100's of times sweeter than sugar and Aspartame/Acsulfame-K in particular are particularly controversial with regard to long-term health. Type either of them into Google and you'll get the general idea.

Below, we have listed typical ingredients across our Energy lineup:
Typical Ingredients: Maltodextrin (Glucose Polymers 60%), Fructose (30%), Citric Acid, Natural Flavor (2%), Electrolytes (Sodium Chloride, Calcium Lactate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Carbonate).

I got 6 years use out of it and just re-ordered a new one! Best grill cover I’ve ever purchased.
Size: 50 Inch, Color: black, Size: 50 Inch, Color: black
Very durable! I noticed earlier this spring that mine was starting to rip after several strong spring wind storms. I knew I had had it for several years but I wasn’t sure how long. I went in my orders page and saw that I ordered it back in 2020 so I got 6 years out of it!! Note that it stays outside on the deck all year round, and that includes during Northeast US winters with frigid temperatures and snow and I only now started to see the tears in it this spring. The tear started at the top of the grill, and actually started falling apart more after I touched it. Refer to the attached photos of mine after 6 years. I think it’s very durable for sitting outside for 6 years and only now only starting to show wear . You can also see how it didn’t really fade despite getting full afternoon sunlight. The velcro ties at the bottom, are also a plus as far as getting it to stay in place and not blow off. That’s why I definitely just repurchased the same one. Hopefully, I will get at least 6 years out of the new one when it arrives tomorrow.

Water Shoes for 3-Week Trip to Amazon, Machu Picchu and the Galapagos
Size: 10.5, Color: Blue/Grey
Bought these shoes (along with a pair of Merrell Gore-TEX Moab Speed 2 GTX) for a three-week trip through some pretty eclectic weather and terrain. I selected these over some much more expensive brands and was very happy with my decision. I typically wear a size 11 athletic shoe (I measure a 10.5), but the 11–11.5 Humtto shoes were way too large and good not get a good fit. I returned that pair, and downsized to the 10.5. They fit me perfectly. Before leaving on the trip I used them to work out at the gym and do some light hiking. They were first seriously tested in the Amazon. The soles provide pretty darn good traction, and they can be worn with or without socks. Because of their hiking and quick drying capabilities, I ended up using these shoes about 50% of the trip. They look great, are comfortable, can be adjusted for fit, and have a decent (medium) arch and heel padding. They are not zero drop from heel to toe, but pretty close. The EVA midsole and memory foam insole for cushioning is great, but do not make the mistake I made by heating it on a heater to accelerate drying. It warped the insole a bit (they are still usable). These are great and survived some pretty extensive testing throughout Peru and Ecuador. If you are stepping into some pretty questionable conditions, these sure are a great back up to your hiking shoes when it may get sloshy and dry shoes are required for the next day.

Excellent shoes for what you’re buying them.
Size: 12, Color: Black
My 2nd pair of this brand. These are awesome. Easy to come off and get on. They stay cool in the summer, they are comfortable with or without socks. I use them in lake and pool, and they still look new. Very inexpensive, and for a change they look actually nicer in person than in the photos. I dont know how they would be doing any athletics but for everything else, including walking a lot and standing for hours, they worked great.

Surprisingly awesome!
Size: 10.5, Color: Dark Gray/Beige
I have only been wearing these for a few days so I may have to revise the review over time, but so far these shoes are absolutely outstanding. If you owned and enjoyed the original Salomon TechAmphibians, later ruined with new designs by the maker, these are their natural heirs. I took a chance on these shoes since the design is very similar. They are lightweight and comfortable and they provide great footbed support whether loose or tightly laced. Like the early TechAmphibians, they also have the cool feature of a collapsing heel upper, allowing their use as slides. They are also half the price that the Salomons sold even 10 or more years ago. The sole has an aggressive tread pattern and is quite grippy wet or dry. I measure as 10.5 D on the shoe size device but almost no shoes in that size fit me in the last few years. I got the 11-11.5 size first but it was swimming on me. 10.5 fits well with a bit of extra room so I can wear them with or without socks.

Great shoes
Size: 10, Color: Grey, Size: 10, Color: Grey
I got 2 pairs of these specifically for a water rafting trip. The first pair was a little large, so I went down a half size ( and gave the larger pair to my son). They are comfortable, even for wide feet - although after a long day of use in the water, there was some chaffing on the outsides of my feet. It loosened up a bit across my wide foot, after getting wet. These worked great! They have adjustable strap across the back, that pulls tight on the outside. the laces are elastic and tighten by pulling and then pushing the stopper down onto the laces. They didn't slip (loosen) but, to get them tight, I had excessive amount of laces hanging out (had to tuck them into the tongue.
