The AEM Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass airflow sensor and breather tube. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Can’t go wrong with K&N

So I recently took my pickup in to have some recall work done, half way through the process I got a call from the dealership stating I needed a new air filter and that a new one would cost nearly $60. I chuckled and told then to put the old one back in and I immediately came to Amazon and ordered this cabin filter. I’ve used K&N products in the past and have never been sorry, and that is the case with this lifetime filter. Upon installing this filter I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in air flow into the cabin, it even smelled better. If this filter ever gets dirty Ira easy to clean and reinstall, paying for itself over time. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up, you will not be sorry.

Fit my Subaru Forester perfectly!

Good Fit
I don’t expect this filter to last as long as the original filter but that’s okay because it is about half the cost. It looks well made. I didn’t see any flaws.
I chose this filter because it had some of the fewest complaints regarding the fit and it worked well for my ‘23 Subaru Forester. I may go back to an OEM filter next time but it’s nice to know that this one will work for me.
