Through an occidental lens, the current collective experience captures a subversion of normality; everything is not okay. The sway pharmaceutical monoliths have over our policy-makers and subsequently, our lives, has effected all sectors of society. This same power structure shapes the media we regard. In order to cope with post-truths and fake news, people turn to hyper-consumerism. In the age of alternative facts, we seek alternative drugs. To create a truly psychedelic experience, this release has phonotropic artwork that animates when viewed in camera at 30 frames per second, in direct light, adding an extra layer to the experience. Buy Muy Drugs' sound is designer dissonance. An Afro-Brazilian percussive mien hybridized with the aggressive, federally-sanctioned genre: loom-bap. The bass-drunk 909s, programmed to stomp mud-holes throughout the full-length's soundscape, drive the manic transitions between maximal bliss and minimal dystopia.

A Helpful Map for First-Time Astral Travelers

I picked up this book because I wanted to learn what “astral projection” really means. The author writes in clear steps that I can follow like relax your body, calm your mind, picture a gentle rope, and imagine climbing out. The ideas sound strange at first, but the explanations make them feel safe.
The “what if” chapter answers simple questions like, What if I get scared? How do I get back? The author says you can return any time by thinking about your body, which makes me feel less nervous. I also liked the short stories about other people’s trips which they show that each experience is different.
I haven’t left my body yet, but I have felt a light floaty feeling while practicing the breathing exercise. That small success keeps me excited to try again.

This book is great!

I bought this for a friend and it didn’t disappoint. It’s such a fun book! I’m definitely going to be borrowing it from her to make some of the recipes. The pictures are wonderful and the recipes don’t look overly complicated.
