Nancy decided after years of aversion to convention, that she wanted to be married to John. As a college student, the idea of marriage had not even entered JohnÕs consciousness. In this first person he-said/she-said memoir, we remember a journey through a country on the edge of change as we stumble through the first steps of a relationship that bridges two continents and two ways of life.
