And then biotinylated Rat SFTPC Antibody is added and binds to SFTPC in the sample. Then Streptavidin HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SFTPC antibody. After incubation

The Rat (SP-C) Pulmonary Surfatcant-associated Protein C ELISA Kit measures Pulmonary Surfatcant-Associated Protein C in Rat samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Rat SFTPC antibody. SFTPC present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat SFTPC Antibody is added and binds to SFTPC in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SFTPC antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Rat SFTPC. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

It’s nice wearing something that looks and feels decent, but if something happens to it, you can toss and it and pick up another for the cost of a chipotle burrito.
