Product Description

A Rhythm Skate Built for Flow

Rhythm skating is all about expression. The way you glide, step, spin, and connect movements together defines your style on the floor. The Spin skate was designed around that idea.

Instead of copying traditional rhythm boots that focus on appearance alone, this skate brings modern performance technology into a street-inspired design. It keeps the clean rhythm skating aesthetic while delivering a lighter, more responsive ride.

The result is a skate that feels fast, controlled, and comfortable whether you are cruising the floor, working on footwork, or skating for hours with friends.

Lightweight Performance You Can Feel

The biggest difference you notice when you pick up the Spin is the weight. Most rhythm skates rely on thick materials and heavy construction. The Spin takes a different approach.

Inside the boot is a carbon fiber base, a material normally reserved for inline speed skates and racing equipment. Carbon fiber is incredibly stiff and lightweight, which means less energy is lost when you push, step, or transition between movements.

For rhythm skating, this translates into:

• Faster response when shifting weight
• Better control during spins and slides
• Less fatigue during long sessions
• A skate that simply feels easier to move

This technology helps the Spin stand out from traditional rhythm boots while keeping the street style that skaters want.

Heat Moldable Fit

Every skater's foot is different, which is why the Spin uses heat-moldable construction. This allows the boot to adapt to the shape of your foot for a more personalized fit.

Once molded, the skate wraps naturally around your foot, improving comfort and stability while reducing pressure points.

A better fit also improves control. When the boot moves with your foot instead of against it, every movement becomes smoother and more precise.

Designed for Long Sessions

Rhythm skating sessions can last for hours, so comfort matters just as much as performance.

The Spin uses high-quality closed-cell foam padding throughout the boot. This type of foam offers several advantages over traditional materials:

• It maintains its shape over time
• It does not absorb sweat or water
• It provides consistent cushioning
• It keeps the boot lightweight

Because the foam does not retain moisture, the skate stays comfortable even during long sessions at the rink or outdoor street spots.

The overall fit has been designed so skaters can ride for hours without feeling weighed down or restricted.

Street Style Meets Modern Technology

The Spin keeps the look that rhythm skaters love. It stays true to the street aesthetic while quietly integrating advanced skate technology underneath.

From the outside, it feels familiar and stylish. Inside, it performs like modern skate gear.

This balance makes the Spin perfect for skaters who want:

• A skate that looks right in rhythm sessions
• Lightweight performance normally found in speed skating gear
• Comfort that lasts through long skate nights
• Reliable equipment that can handle daily use

Built for Rhythm, Jam, and Street Skating

The Spin was created for skaters who move between different styles. It works perfectly for:

• Rhythm skating
• Jam skating
• Dance skating
• Session skating
• Casual cruising sessions

Because it combines comfort, lightweight construction, and smooth rolling components, it adapts easily to different skating styles.

Whether you are practicing footwork, flowing around the rink, or just skating with friends, the Spin keeps things smooth.

Skate Longer. Move Freer.

The Spin brings modern skate technology into rhythm skating without losing the street aesthetic that makes the culture unique.

It is lightweight, comfortable, responsive, and built for skaters who want to keep moving.

Step into the Spin and experience a rhythm skate designed for long sessions, smooth flow, and effortless control.

Yes. The heat-moldable construction allows the boot to adapt to your foot shape. Most skaters can heat mold the skate using a standard oven following the recommended instructions.

Almost the perfect watch
Color: Black/Blue
I have owned three earlier models of these things going back to the days when I actually ran road races. They are brilliant pieces of work. My only complaint of them was that the start/stop/split button(s)--there were two on the older models--were too small. Well, apparently Timex listens and the two small buttons are now combined into one larger one. Probably this was done years ago but I'm only now getting back into road work, so now I get to discover it. The perfect watch? Almost. I especially like this model as my eyes are not what they used to be and the oversized face makes it easier to read. The downside to this is that it also makes the crystal easier to scratch. That's always been an issue, but I can live with it. No, the real problem with this product is, was, and apparently ever shall be, the band. Now, it could be worse, it could be a resin band (like the old ones) that will crack and break within a couple of years, but no, this is a nylon and velcro wrap style which should be just dandy, but for three glitches: 1. it's too short 2. it's too narrow (gee whiz, Timex designers, it's an oversized watch, why not a matching oversized band?) and 3. it's still resin where it attaches to the actual watch. Now, I imagine it's probably less prone to breakage in how it's implemented, but if you should choose to replace it, I can see no obvious way of removing it short of cutting it off. Really? But these are minor complaints. I doubt it would be comfortable on anyone whose wrists are much bigger than my own, but replacement bands are everywhere, and this watch will keep time with style and it's brilliant at splits. Heck, it even functions admirably as a backup for my expensive stopwatches at our regular short track stock car events. For my money (and did I mention the price is wonderful?) the Ironman is still the best at what it does, and for what it can do.

Good hard use watch.
Color: Black/Silver-Tone
Review Calibration: 3 stars means it works as advertised, nothing special during use, and no amazing features. Higher stars mean better-than-expected performance and features. This is 5 stars because it is my favorite work/hard-use watch. I have been wearing one for years, and like all Timex watches, it can take a beating. I have to replace it when the band's ears get so damaged that they won't hold the band on. This has more to do with the plastic's lifespan than with a design issue. I am hard on watches. This watch normally lasts ne 7-10 years between replacements.

Typical Ironman quality
Color: Black/Silver-Tone
This is my fourth Timex Ironman watch. I own many watches, and prefer the Ironman for casual wear and sporting activities as well as swimming and snorkeling. I decided to replace an earlier model with this one rather than pay to change the battery. The Ironman has changed very little over the years since its introduction in the '80s, with the exception of cosmetic improvememnts and a larger display. I selected the "oversize" model as I was looking for a little more heft to this model. This watch fits the bill, not as chunky as my G-Shock. A pleasant surprise was the weight of the watch. This model is lightweight, another advantage over the G. It's larger than the typical Ironman model, but about the same weight. The band lacks the stiffness of some other Timex and Casio models, and is quite comfortable. Typical Ironman functions are unchanged, and the ability to "hide" various functions makes operation of the watch more efficient. There are three time zones, useful when traveling, as well as the usual chronograph/timer and alarm functions. I haven't worn the watch in the pool or ocean yet, but if experience is any guide, I expect no problems. I've never had an Ironman leak, whether during water sports or snorkeling. These are great watches for the money. I prefer 200 meter water resistance for this type of watch, but Timex has yet to build an Ironman 200m that doesn't overwhelm my wrist in weight and size. I'm not a big guy, and they are simply too large for my wrist. Looking forward to years of service with this watch. Definitely a good timepiece for the price.

Will not be disappointed
Color: Black/Blue
Keeping in mind that I received this item yesterday (2/24/16), I absolutely love this watch. The reason I have so much confidence with this watch is because I've owned one other Timex similar to this one, and it served me extremely well and is still able to do so. First off, this watch is certainly aesthetically pleasing. The blue color around the face of the watch and outline in the band, goes really well with the black frame. It's just an overall nice looking watch. More importantly, the quality seems great. As I mentioned, I've owned a Timex expedition, which I've had for more than 2 years, and it's still working perfectly fine. The watch seems like it's put together very well and there's no loose or flimsy parts. One complaint that many people seem to have with Timex is the quality of their band. Unfortunately I'd have to agree, since the band on my other Timex that's still working like the first day I got it, cracked and broke and is only being held together by the nylon fabric on the other side of the band. You're not going to have that problem with this watch. It's a full nylon band with Velcro adjustment, for precise fitting. it feels extremely comfortable and you won't need to worry about the band cracking (although I'm sure there will be certain defects in a mass produced bunch). I will use this watch for work and running, and rarely plan on taking it off. Just to give you an idea, I also have a garmin gps watch that I love and obviously has more functions than this watch. However, the second I received this watch, I slapped it on and put my garmin to the side. This watch also looks amazing when you wear it. I'll update this feedback as needed, but I'm confident this watch will serve me for years to come, just as my other one has.
