Quaife has developed one of the best limited slip differentials on the market. So what does a limited slip differential (also known as LSD) do? Have you ever seen someone doing a burnout, but only one wheel is spinning, or one wheel is spinning more than the other? That's the result of having an open differential, and they sometimes call this as "peglegs". The problem with this, is that you're not transferring as much power as possible to the ground, and are losing traction. Quaife LSD's fix that and in drag racing situations, give you the ability to transfer just about an equal 50/50 split between the left and right power wheels. This gives you incredible amounts of grip and traction. Not into drag racing? When cornering, the Quaife limited slip differential sends power to the outside wheel to give you a massive increase in traction, allowing you to accelerate harder out of corners. Even in situations such as ice, rain or snow, this LSD gives you much more traction and stability. Highly recommended for serious performance enthusiasts who want to make sure they put the power down.
