In Zodiac lore, the Horse is revered for its strength and spirit. When paired with the fire element in 2026, those qualities are intensified – bringing confidence, vitality and bold forward motion.
Long, long ago, the Jade Emperor invited all the animals to compete in a great race, with the purpose of selecting twelve animals to be his personal guards. An immortal messenger was sent into the land of men to announce that the first twelve animals to pass through the heavenly gates would be honoured with a place in the Zodiac.
The race began beside a fast-flowing river that all the animals had to cross in order to reach the finish line. Strong, energetic, and free-spirited, the Horse charged into the water, swimming powerfully against the current and then galloping swiftly toward the gates beyond.
Just as the Horse was about to cross the finish line, a sudden movement startled it. A clever Snake, which had secretly coiled itself around the Horse’s leg during the crossing, slipped free and darted ahead at the very last moment. Startled but undeterred, the Horse quickly recovered and crossed the line immediately after.
And so, the Horse claimed seventh place in the Zodiac. Known ever since for its strength, speed, and noble heart, the Horse represents freedom, determination, and an unyielding drive to move forward toward new horizons.
A limited edition collection, only 88 pairs in sterling silver and 8 pairs in 18ct gold have been crafted worldwide. Since the launch of our first Zodiac cufflinks in 2020, these pieces have become meaningful markers of time – collected, gifted and worn to honour tradition, storytelling and personal milestones.
Designed as enduring keepsakes, the Year of the Horse Cufflinks celebrate movement, ambition and inner fire – a story captured in silver and gold, to be carried forward.
