58016 entered service during October 1984, and although part of the “first 35” locomotives, it was different in many subtle ways to the “as-built” 58001. Outshopped in Railfreight Red Stripe livery, it had different-angle cab side sheets, door handles fitted to the access doors, and a moisture trap/filter on the air brake piping. It was repainted into Triple Grey with Coal Sector branding in 1989, by which time it had gained a wide exhaust silencer and NRN radio pods on the cab roof. In 1991, the familiar Toton cooling towers depot plaque was added to the secondman's side.
During 1992, 58016 was notable for filling in on a Sprinter diagram on Cambridge to Birmingham services with a motley selection of Mk2 coaches. Like many others in the fleet, Coal Sector branding gave way to Mainline, and the locomotive soldiered on in its Triple Grey livery until it received a striking coat of EWS maroon and gold during 1996. 58016 was one of the final 58s to operate in this country for EWS, being withdrawn in August 2002. 58016 was chosen to be resurrected for Fertis, and a trip to France beckoned. After it returned to the UK, it was placed into storage at Crewe Diesel Depot. Here it stayed until purchased by the Class 58 Loco Group for preservation. The locomotive currently resides at UKRL’s depot in Leicester.

Works Well, Easy to Clean, Just Watch Stove Temp
Color: Linen Gray
I bought this set to replace a stainless steel set I have after the nickel in the stainless steel cookware starting leeching into my food and causing some pretty severe reactions. I made sure to read the instructions that came with this ceramic-coated cookware before use, and made a note to not heat it on high - I have cast iron for that anyway. I appreciate how light weight this cookware is, and how easy it is to clean with soap and water - I don't put my cookware in the dishwasher. So far it appears to work well making sauces, heating vegetables, cooking pasta, but I do have to plan a little extra time to get water to boil, of course. One thought for the designers - it would be helpful if the lids fit more than 1 pot. It would be nice, for instance, for the large pot lid to fit the large skillet for sauces that need to simmer and/or reduce for a while. Overall, this cookware is an extremely good value and I'd purchase it again.

Great value, well made, but get the stainless ones for max performance on induction.
Color: Ivory
Good quality but they don't heat up as fast as the stainless steel amazon basics cookware i also have, my induction stove can boil water in less than 2 minutes with stainless, but the ceramic takes much longer, but still fast. I'm not sure of how much safer the ceramic is vs teflon pans, as ceramic is not a standardized thing. Overall i'm pleased and great value for the money

Looks good and the non-stick is great.
Color: Ivory
I really like the look of this cookware. The non-stick is great and cleanup is easy. I do notice a few scrapes in the pans. I am very careful about the utensils I am use on them so not sure what happened. But it is not too bad and not a game changer. I would like lids for all the pans so I hope those are available for purchase. Overall I am pleased.

Great quality and value
Color: Linen Gray, Color: Linen Gray
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics ceramic nonstick set regularly, and it performs really well. Food cooks evenly and doesn’t stick, and cleanup is quick. The handles stay cool, and everything feels sturdy. Looks luxe. Color looks great! For the price, it’s a solid, reliable set.

Excellent pans
Color: Linen Gray
Ceramic coating, aluminum body with steel plate on the bottom for induction cooking. Used these on an induction hot plate and they worked better than the stainless steel pans I had tried before. They have a nice heft, without being heavy. Made in Luxembourg according to the tag on the bottom. Very good looking pans.
