The child in the cover image is me. At the age of two. It was 1963.

As far as I can remember, I have always loved listening to records. Certainly due to my family history, with my father who was a distinguished classical pianist and refined composer, and my mother an opera singer.

But certainly in those years of early childhood, the black "saucepans" that spun on the old family record player and from which my favorite fairy tales emerged, narrated by the great voices of great actors (I remember, for example, Nando Gazzolo and his Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Grethel, and Tom Thumb, whose records I literally wore out...), held a great fascination for me.

Around eight or nine years old, the transition from fairy tales to The Beatles' 45s at the end of their career (Obladì, Obladà), or to the unusual and unknown sound of the Theremin used in Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys, was a completely natural progression.

And when, at 13, I gradually began to discover Santana, Pink Floyd, Genesis, etc. etc. etc., combined with reading Suono and Stereoplay, it was equally natural to become infatuated with images of the large reel-to-reel recorders of the time, suitable for the then rare home studios.

My first love, so dreamed of and never owned, was the Tascam 80-8, an eight-track on half-inch tape. And the dream microphones were Sennheiser, the MD441s and MD421s... But the real dream was to "build my own studio"... something that would remain, for a long time, just a dream.

When, at 19, I finally discovered the music of Jim Croce and understood that... "It-Can-Be-Done!" (cit.), that was the moment it became clear to me that sooner or later, I would do that job, I would "make records."

And the rest is history...

My culture, my tradition, my fundamental experiences, are ANALOGUE.

Even though, right from the start of my professional career in 1992, I was a champion of quality digital, I never abandoned analogue and, above all, I never abandoned the "analogue mindset."

So, this ninth vinyl I produced can only be, I hope, the first in a series of "collections" of the best of the many beautiful pieces of music I have produced over the last 30 years with my Velut Luna. And on the cover, you won't find the little word "Volume 1," just to avoid bad luck. But if this format is successful, others will follow.

In the meantime, enjoy listening to these authentic, ideal "children" of mine.

A heartfelt thank you to all the musicians who have contributed to making Velut Luna great in its first 30 years.

Marco Lincetto

My Monster Dogs destroyed these balls
Color: Glow in the dark II, Size: Large
I was so excited to get two of these balls for my doodle puppies to have to play with . THEY DESTROYED THEM IN ALL OF TEN MINUTES. I don't believe that there was anything wrong with the balls. They were beautiful, high quality balls. Just not durable enough for my doodles.

Sturdy, well made, puppy & senior dog approved
Color: Glow in the dark I, Size: Medium
Pet approved !!!! Our puppy immediately grabbed it by the straps and took off!! It is well made and has handled some serious chewing in the last 24 hours. We love the glow in the dark because puppy playtime does not stop when it gets dark out!! It came with a pump and was very easy to assemble and inflate. This toy would be great for a pet owner that struggles with grasp & grip strength, the straps are absolutely genius.

Fun, Durable Ball, But Straps Could Be Tougher
Color: Glow in the dark I, Size: Large
I bought the QDAN Glow in the Dark Dog Toys Soccer Ball for my German Shepherd, who absolutely loves it. The glow-in-the-dark feature is great for evening play, adding an extra layer of fun to our outdoor interactions. The ball itself has proven to be remarkably durable, standing up well to the rough play that comes with a large, active dog. However, the straps did not fare as well. My GSD managed to bite through most of them relatively quickly. While this hasn’t stopped us from enjoying the ball, it does mean that some of the interactive potential of the toy is lost. The ball continues to be a hit on its own, thanks to its resilience and the glow feature that keeps my dog engaged. If the straps were as durable as the ball itself, this would be a perfect outdoor toy for energetic dogs. As it stands, it’s still a good purchase for anyone looking for a sturdy, engaging toy for their pet, especially if nighttime play is a routine.
