●DNA是生物的生命設計圖：DNA由兩條長鏈連結而成，扭成像螺旋梯一樣的形狀，兩條長鏈上有互補的基因密碼。讀取基因時，只需要其中一條長鏈上的遺傳訊息。另一條長鏈平時可以做為保護蓋，而且假如有一條鏈的基因受損了，就可以用另一條的互補資訊來恢復基因密碼。而分子結構為什麼像螺旋梯呢？因為長鏈結構連接時會有一個角度，整條長鏈累積下來，直直的梯子就會扭成螺旋狀。
●雄性和雌性繁衍戰略大不同：生物中雄性的戰略為「亂槍打鳥」，不大會選擇對象，因為精子可以一直補充；但雌性需投資很多資源在製造卵上，要是卵無法受精，就會浪費許多成本，所以雌性會仔細判斷雄性，合格之後才會交配繁衍。因此雄性動物發展出展示華麗羽毛或是送禮物的行為。像「蚊蠍蛉」這種昆蟲，捕不到獵物而無法送禮的雄蟲，會假裝自己是雌蟲，騙取比較會狩獵的雄蟲的獵物，再把這些獵物當成自己的，送給雌蟲，獲得交配權。令人心有戚戚焉！
●大腦運作跟螞蟻行為很像：大腦是由無數個神經細胞組成的結構。神經細胞的末端只會做出On或Off這種單純的輸出，不過集合成大腦後卻能夠在複雜情況下做出適當判斷。昆蟲中的蟻群或蜂群也是如此，兩者的末端都只能做出簡單判斷，但整體的決策能力遠勝個別單位。我們將多部電腦以同樣的架構機制彼此連接，便能製作出決策能力遠勝個體的網路了。這就是人工智慧。
作者簡介
長谷川英祐（EISUKE HASEGAWA）
演化生物學者。北海道大學農學研究所副教授，隸屬動物生態學研究室。1961年出生於東京。小時候便夢想成為昆蟲學者。大學時開始進行社會性昆蟲的研究。畢業後在民間企業工作五年，之後在東京都立大學研究所學習生態學。
主要研究領域包括社會性演化、動物族群的行為等。其中又以「不工作的工蟻」的研究最受矚目。興趣包括電影、汽車、釣魚、讀書、漫畫等。著作包括暢銷書《不工作的工蟻也有存在的意義》、《如何在逐漸萎縮的世界中活下去？》（皆由Media Factory新書出版）。

陳朕疆
自由譯者。清華大學生命科學學士、政大財務管理碩士、京都大學農學部交換一年。曾在中研院生醫所擔任研究助理。

Nice Fit

Good value, soft and comfortable

Initial thoughts are very positive with this 3 pack shirt set. The green is similar to an OD military green and the black and gray are standard color shades. Material is soft and sizes are true to size. The mock turtleneck isn’t too tight but may still be a little annoying to some people. I do question the amount of spandex in these shirts. Tag says 5% but these shirts are extremely stretchy and feels like a higher spandex content. It’s also a little tough to figure out which way is the front of the shirt. Visually rhe front does have a lower collar line than the back but would still be nice to have a brand tag printed in the back of the shirt for quicker identification.
Overall for roughly $12 a shirt these are a good choice for everyday wear. I will update rating if these shirts fail to meet expectations after further use.

Just what I wanted.
Color: Black, Navy Blue, Wine Red, Size: 5X-Large
These may have just become my standard shirt to wear. Feels good whether tucked or out. Drapes well and fits well. So far, I can see it adjust to the different undershirt I may wear. Will probably order another set in other colors and a back up set of the basics because they will get worn a lot.

Its alright
Color: Black, Size: 5X-Large
True to size per the size chart. The fabric is soft but it it feels cheap to me. It attracts lint but you can brush it off easily so its not the cheapest material I've dealt with. Also, it is opaque (not see through).
There is no front/ back indicator either which is indicative of a cheap shirt in my opinion. Would be friendly for tag sensitive people (to stay positive).
