Step up to Ibanez’s Platinum Collection of guitars with the stunning AE440 acoustic-electric guitar. While this instrument sports a stunning African mahogany top, ebony body binding, and a smooth ebony fingerboard, the AE440 is more than just a pretty face. Combined with its top, the solid African mahogany back and sides add warm, rich, woody tones your ears will love. Like the rest of the AE Ibanez line, the AE440 sports a comfortable and projective AE body style that struts its stuff with an X-M bracing pattern. The neck features an Advanced Comfort Grip as well as a resonant 5-piece African mahogany and pau ferro construction.

Platinum Collection appointments

It all starts with a premium tonewood selection, and with the AE440 Ibanez sprung for a stunning all-solid African mahogany top, back, and sides. Next, a 5-piece mahogany and a pau ferro neck get an Advanced Comfort Grip carve while the Macassar ebony fingerboard with a 15.75 radius receives a Rounded Fretboard Edge treatment. These features all combine into a guitar that’s supremely playable and sonically superb. Ibanez luthiers then finish off the AE440 with a Macassar ebony binding into the body edge and abalone and wooden rosette for the soundhole binding.

The AE body shape on the AE440 delivers sound that flows with plenty of projection and balance. Not to mention, it’s incredibly comfortable whether you’re sitting in the studio, jamming onstage, or rehearsing at home. But the secondary secret to this acoustic-electric’s tone is the X-M Bracing that creates a midrange with warmth, a bass with clarity, and a treble that sings.

Ibanez Custom Electronics for sonic diversity

For a wide range of user playability, Ibanez outfitted the AE440 with three pickups: an AP11 magnetic, a T-bar under-saddle, and a contact. Through this range of pickups, guitarists will be able to dial in their desired sound with ease, even blending between pickups to hit that electrical sweet spot. For example, use the under-saddle and magnetic pickups together to achieve a great articulation and punchiness that fits lead playing. You’ll have a corresponding volume knob for each pickup as well as dual outputs. The end pin jack accesses the magnetic, under-saddle, and contact pickups with mixed output. Plugging into both the end pin and open jacks accesses the magnetic pickup through the end pin and the under-saddle and contact pickups with mixed output through the open jack.

A must read for every black person
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I thought the book was very powerful and in depth! I wanted the biggest version of the book! Nevertheless I found this book very in depth and informative! We must learn from our forefathers and understand or try to imagine what they went through! We can do this today now in 2024! We must unite and teach our children this rich history of us building and supporting each other as black peoples!

The sadness of the massacre
Format: Paperback
I am not sure how I came across this book but am glad I did. This is one reason why we should never try to erase our history whether good or bad. Sadly, I feel the hate still lingers amongst people but I will never forget when Dr Martin Luther King was assasinated. I was just 19 and my heart sank to lose such a good leader. This book opened my eyes to look and support our leaders whether white or black. Skin color does not define who we are
