The ProLock drag link end is engineered for extreme strength and long service life in demanding steering applications. A forged steel housing is CNC-machined to precise tolerances and superior structural integrity, while a hot-forged SAE 4140 chromoly ball stud is induction heat-treated to withstand heavy steering loads and high-stress conditions. Rolled threads increase thread strength and durability compared to traditional cut threads, ensuring reliable adjustment and secure installation. A rugged bearing design provides consistent steering feedback, while a CR rubber accordion boot protects the joint from dirt, moisture, oil, and extreme temperatures. An electro-coated finish adds corrosion resistance, and the greaseable design with pre-threaded zerk fittings allows proper lubrication for extended service life. Built-in articulation features allow increased stud movement while limiting unwanted rotation, improving stability and longevity in high-articulation suspension systems.
