De bijzondere uitstraling van Kubu verfraait elke hoek van uw huis. De ovale vorm en het gevlochten patroon van katoenen koorden genaamd "Kawung" in het Indonesisch maken het zo uniek.
Kubu is gemaakt van bananenvezels en is verkrijgbaar in drie maten. M en L zijn ideaal voor bijvoorbeeld wasgoed of dekens, terwijl S bijzonder effectief is als plantenmand of opbergplaats voor kleine spulletjes zoals speelgoed.

Hoofdmateriaal: bananenvezels
Bananenvezels zijn de vezels van de gelaagde stammen van in de landbouw gebruikte bananenbomen. De intens bruine kleur ontstaat op natuurlijke wijze wanneer de vezels ongeveer een week in de zon worden gedroogd. Vervolgens worden de afzonderlijke stroken gerold tot de karakteristieke, circa 6 mm dikke strengen. Voor dit materiaal worden uitsluitend oude, stervende bananenbomen gebruikt. Hierdoor krijgen deze gewassen een tweede leven als maatvaste en robuuste grondstof voor vele handgemaakte manden hier bij Soeji.

Bij de selectie van onze lokale producenten hechten wij waarde aan een eerlijk loon en goede arbeidsomstandigheden. In de fabrieken waar we onze goederen kopen, werken we alleen met volwassen en ervaren ambachtslieden. Bij het productieproces worden geen schadelijke chemicaliën gebruikt. Omdat alle werkstappen met de hand worden uitgevoerd, genereert het productieproces nauwelijks uitstoot van broeikasgassen. Just Love These Little Pads

I use these everyday, at least twice a day and they are perfect for applying toner, etc. The little pads absorb liquid well so you don't use too much of something, or the liquid rolls off onto the counter, they fit perfectly on the ends of my fingers, they don't leave lint on my skin, and are thin enough to be used easily and well. They do not scratch my skin, they are not rough, and they don't stick to me. I use them only once and throw away. The price of them is reasonable and a box of them is always sitting in pantry. I've used them to applying antiseptic to cuts,, giving to my husband for dotting a razor cut, and as a protector inside a jewelry pouch. I just love these little pads.

Great Quality Cotton Rounds at a Good Price

I use these cotton rounds regularly with micellar water to remove my makeup, and they work really well. They’re soft on the skin and effective without feeling rough or irritating.

Stitches Edges Indicate Quality
