De HiFi-Tuning Supreme³ RCCB-aardlekschakelaar is ontwikkeld voor audio- en videoliefhebbers die maximale prestaties uit hun installatie willen halen. Waar conventionele aardlekschakelaars een beperkende factor kunnen vormen, is deze audio/video-grade uitvoering ontworpen om de kwaliteit van de stroomvoorziening te optimaliseren. Door het gebruik van massieve koper-zilvercontacten, antimagnetische roestvrijstalen schroeven en een cryogene behandeling wordt spanningsverlies tot een minimum beperkt.

Als Type-F aardlekschakelaar biedt de Supreme³ RCCB een uiterst betrouwbare werking, ook bij afwijkende golfvormen die worden veroorzaakt door moderne schakelende voedingen. Hierdoor wordt een hoge mate van veiligheid gecombineerd met het behoud van optimale audio- en videoprestaties. In vergelijking met standaard aardlekschakelaars onderscheidt de Supreme³-serie zich door een verbeterde dynamiek, meer rust in de weergave en een hogere mate van detail.

De installatie kan eenvoudig worden uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerde elektricien, die de bestaande aardlekschakelaar in korte tijd kan vervangen.

Do I love it? Yes. Is it well made? It certainly appears to be. Is the leather thick? Yes, I’d say definitely thick and sturdy. Do I like the color (Bootlegger Brown)? Of course I do, it’s gorgeous. It seems very well made. The corners are secured with black fasteners, which I think are going to better than the buttons in the long run that I’ve seen on others. It’s was this brand, or Hide and Drink for me. I went with these guys because it’s U.S. made, and hopefully American sourced leather. I bought the Large. My concern was that the XL might be too large for my nightstand. I measured it out and everything. However, I was not counting on the length and width to be measured from the end of the pinched corners, so I was a little disappointed about the size of the useable surface area. It’s not a big deal, but I wish that I’d have just spent the extra $5 and got the XL. If I we’re to get another, I definitely go with the XL unless you just want something on the smallish side, but still I suspect that they are larger that what most others are offering. At least these guys give you a choice of options.
