HIGH/LOW TORQUE FILES
IE High Torque ECU calibrations maximize power gains throughout the entire powerband which quickly exceeds the torque limitations of the factory DSG calibration (auto trans) or the stock clutch (manual trans) that leads to clutch slipping. Stage 1 and Stage 2 files include optional Low Torque files for vehicles with stock DSG tune or stock clutch. Both high and low torque files are included and can be switched between as often as you like. High Torque files require the additional purchase of a DSG transmission tune to reliably take advantage of the intense power.

ETHANOL FILES
Ethanol fuels contains tons of oxygen, burns cooler, and has a high resistance to knock resulting in the most performance potential from our ECU tunes for your MQB 2.0T engine. Even though ethanol is capable of more power than regular pump gas, it does require more ethanol to make the same power as pump gas and requires fueling upgrades.
Both E30 and IE TrueFlex E85 files are available depending on ECU stage.

INSTANT ADAPTABILITY
IE's TrueFlex unlocks the flexibility to run full E85 down to 91 octane gas and any mix in between on a single tune without the need to reflash the ECU. IE's software engineers and calibrators have developed our own advanced TrueFlex calibration, allowing the ECU to safely adjust for ethanol content down to the exact percentage in real-time. This powerful programming brings the ease and confidence to fill up at the pump and make the most power available from your fuel choice without having to drain, verify blends, or reflash the ECU. TrueFlex is currently only available for 2015-2018 IS38 files, stage 1 & 2 support and 2019+ model years are coming soon.
PERFORMANCE FIRST
Factory equipped flex-fuel calibrations are designed to adjust for the cleanest emissions for different ethanol blends to get the highest MPG. This typically results in maximum timing for the lowest octane (91) across the entire range up to E85, leaving loads of untapped power on the table. IE TrueFlex is a complete performance adaptation that makes instant and continuous adjustments to performance maps such as boost and timing and releases the most available power for the fuel mix as it enters the cylinder. Although full E85 is completely safe to run, the highest power output is seen around E60-E75 blend.
TRUEFLEX HARNESS
The EA888 Gen 3 2.0T engine is not equipped with any type of Flex Fuel systems from the factory and lacks the ability to sense fuel content. In order for IE's TrueFlex ECU tune to work, an IE TrueFlex Sensor Harness Kit is required. This easy to install harness kit installs a sensor capable of delivering instant fuel content data to the ECU calibration.
REQUIRES HPFP
Ethanol offers higher power output but also requires more fuel delivery than regular pump gas. The stock High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) can not deliver enough fuel to support ethanol and must be upgraded. Upgrading the HPFP ensures there will be enough fuel supply for ethanol content to run reliably at all elevations and climate conditions safely.
RELIABLE ETHANOL
Not only does IE TrueFlex allow for amazing power potential, but it also offers the most safety from ethanol blends. The ability to truly meter and adjust for ethanol content allows the tune to instantly alter the ECU maps to keep the engine in the optimal range and protect from dangerous lean conditions. This offers amazing protection from pumps that may have lower than advertised ethanol content or if no ethanol is available. Fill up with the best quality fuel available to you, and let TrueFlex do the rest!
EXHAUST CRACKLE
Enabling the Exhaust Crackle feature will add a motorsport-inspired crackle sound to your exhaust note when you free-rev the engine or decelerate. This feature can be flashed on or off at will with your IE POWERlink. For the most aggressive pops and bangs an aftermarket catback system is recommended.
BRAKE BOOST
Commonly used in roll racing, Brake Boosting allows you to build extra boost by applying brake pressure while accelerating. Release the brake pressure for a "rolling launch" or extra surge of power. Brake Boost is included on all tune stages.
INCREASED RPM
To take advantage of the new larger power band, factory rev limits have been raised to 7000RPM in all stages. On DSG equipped cars, the transmission will shift slightly before the new engine RPM (6900RPM). DSG Tune is required to unlock higher RPM.
STOCK DOWNPIPE IS38
Want more power on the street without increasing your emissions output? IE's IS38 Stock Downpipe file utilizes our TrueFlex harness and ECU calibration to offer beyond stock turbo stage 2 power levels. Enjoy a massive boost in horsepower and torque without changing the factory catalytic converter. IS38 Stock Downpipe TrueFlex File is included with IS38 Tune purchases.

Excellent Quality, Great Value, Great Look. Highly Recommend
Very well-made, there are some minor imperfections in the cuff sewing that aren't really noticeable when on. Liner is quality, color is spot on, and it fits true to size. If you're in the market for a toddler blazer and pants, you can't go wrong with this one in terms of quality, price, and the cut is perfect for a very polished look.
There were a few loose strings to be clipped, but everything was correctly sewn and well. None of them affected the seam strength. The pants have a button and elastic on the waistband to make adjusting the waist size easier.
